Each painting is of a full packet of crisps painted onto a pure white background. I enjoy painting food and I feel the work is a celebration of the everyday. Something we are all familiar with but really don't even notice. I hope that these pieces also raises questions about the nature of representation and reality, as the photorealistic style blurs the line between the actual and the depicted.
