This series brings together fragments drawn from different cinematic sources, combining foreground and background elements taken from separate films. By placing these images together, the original narrative is interrupted and reconfigured within the painting.

The works adopt a widescreen format, referencing the visual language of cinema while shifting it into a static image. What appears coherent at first begins to feel uncertain, as the relationship between elements no longer belongs to a single source.

Rendered with a high level of control and precision, the paintings hold these constructed moments in place. As in other works, what would normally pass is fixed and reconsidered, but here it is the narrative itself that is held in suspension.

Rather than presenting a complete story, the works operate within this interruption. The viewer is invited to reconstruct meaning from fragments, where what is seen feels familiar, yet no longer fully resolved.
